Annisia “Blaze” Anderson was born in Oklahoma City, OK.  She began singing at the tender age of 5, performing solos at various  local churches and venues. As a teenager, she acquired several years of vocal training and  won 1st place in several talent shows and competitions. She has been trained in sight reading and classical music, and has received superior ratings at state and regional-wide contests. Blaze started singing professionally at the age of 22, as lead  singer and background vocalist in the band, Soul Factor. 

 

Annisia aka Blaze has gained 20 years of musical experience as a professional background vocalist, and has performed with national artists such as N'Dambi, Christopher Williams and the OKC Philharmonic just to name a few. Blaze has opened for Case, Al B Sure, Morris Day, Sheila E and Music SoulChild.  She has performed in plays, film clips, jazz festivals and more. She has extensive experience in genres such as jazz, blues, classical, funk, R&B, and neo-soul. Blaze’s  vocals are laced with an edgy, soulful tone and her stage performance would be described as free and raw- yet sultry and sexy. Currently, Blaze is the co-founder and  member of the Dynamic Duo called Pitch Her Perfect. Meanwhile, she also maintains as a solo artist and aspires to be at the top along with the greatest. She sings from her heart with the intent to touch people's lives. She believes that music is therapy for the soul.
